I don't know if I'm alone on this one, but I'm absolutely obsessed with the Meadham Kirchhoff Fall 2012. Maybe its my love of sequins or my need for color that attracts me to this collection, but it really brings extreme and costumey into the realm of ready-to-wear. Collectively, these ensembles appear to be a psychedelic mess, but individually, almost all these pieces can be wearable. Marc Jacob's 1700's-inspired shoes are fabulous; he conceived a perfect fusion between Louis XIV and Glam Rock! His shoes this season match the larger than life hats and oversized clothes in the collection. He also paired all his shoes with fun socks (as seen above). Why not add form to function? I love showing off my wool socks in the winter or pairing my shoes with dainty socks like these from American Apparel:
