DEATH BY FASHION

DEATH BY FASHION

Black-Spiked Christian Louboutin, Alexander Mcqueen Skull Ring, See by Chloe Pant, Mawi Faceted Jade Skull Bracelet, Pink Sweater, Jason Wu Leather Pencil Skirt, Rochas Metallic Brocade Skirt, Emilio Pucci Brass Onyx Ring, Alexander Mcqueen Pleated Shirt Dress, Alexander Mcqueen Skull Clutch, Skeleton Embellished Leggings

While wondering through the mall recently, I discovered a new store specializing in trendy home decor called, Typo. I found this skull canvas (I have an odd obsession with skulls) and had to have it. While looking around the Australian-based store I found a lot of other fun affordable pieces, like my 'F*CK DECAF' coffee mug and a spiral notebook. This brought out my darkside and compelled me to do this semi-sinister collage. An obvious designer to turn to for such a subject is Alexander McQueen, for their use of skulls and dark style. The ring, clutch, and blouse really helped the cohesion to this collage.

Net-a-porter.com 's page for fall trends is the culmination of everything I love about fall fashion, mixed with my own personal style. It has the basics sweaters and dark colors, but it also shows "Country Cool", where edgy meets farm-trendy, and one of my more recent obsessions, the slipper! Classic masculine piece, comes to life with feminie details this season; officially INFATUATED with the slipper!

Lauren Goes to Minneapolis

She can barely contain her excitement

H&M Earrings
My sister, Lauren, came to visit me in Minneapolis for Basilica Block Party to see: The Head and the Heart, The Lumineers, Fitz and the Tantrums, and The Avett Brothers. While she was in the Land of Lakes, she wanted to make a trip to the Mall of America to take advantage of Minnesota's lack of shopping tax. One of our major stops was H&M, which is filled with tons of great pieces, especially some of the oversized, Prada-inspired jewelry. We both bought pairs of earring, and at $7.95, we were able to look glamorous without paying the Prada pricetag!

J.Crew Doing Glam
J.Crew is a visual and creative model for retail and fashion. Their classic style is seemlessly fused with seasonal trends and ornamented with edgy details or simplistic finishes. This output is consistently adored by individuals with a spectrum of styles. Myself, who is constantly in between a variety of aesthetics and influences, is able to find refuge in J.Crew, and assurance in the value of each piece. They also represent the iconic, worldly man, always dressed well in fitted pants and taylored detail, but with some unpredictability and modernity.

I love me a J.Crew Man!
